"Your poem, “Arachnophobia”, was magnificent.  The imagery was so incredibly strong that I kept rubbing the back of my neck, sure that a spider was crawling on me.  As someone who is afraid of spiders, you captured the fear and hatred perfectly.  This poem may be the most realistic piece of poetry I have ever read, it has really stuck with me.  I would not change any of it.  Great job.

I loved reading your poems.  The one that caught my eye and ear the most was “Arachnophobia.”  I think you did a very good job of creating imagery with the line “I even walked into your cousin’s web once.”  I think everyone has experienced that feeling of walking through a spider’s web and just brushing it off without much fuss.  You bring tension to your poem when you say “In my face and in my hair.”  This made me want to brush my shoulders off when I read that line.  It is obvious through the writing that this moment had a real impact on you and you do great job of telling the story in verse.

I love this poem as we both have a serious hatred for spiders. No matter how tiny they may be they never cease to scare the daylights out of me! I also had a very difficult time revising my poem, it is so difficult to get past what you already see as completed. I liked your revised ending and think you did a great job!
